TARPON TIME!!! They are here and they are eager to please! The tarpon fishing in Islamorada the past few weeks has been just fantastic! I'm catching plenty of fish in both the back country and on the ocean. This is a real beast my good friend Breon caught on fly two days ago. This was the hottest fish of the season so far. She drug us all over the place and jumped through the whole fight. Truly a memorable fish. Way to go Breon!

The weather here in South Florida has continued to be just stellar! We are seeing the sunshine and temperatures in the eighties we usually don't see until spring. This has made the fishing the past few weeks just absolutely phenomenal! The permit fishing in Biscayne Bay has been top notch. I'm finding large schools of permit on both the bayside and oceanside of Biscayne Bay. The fish of the week this past week was caught by my customer Stephen of Dallas Texas. He plucked this monster 43 lbs. permit out of a school of three that we're tailing so hard I swear it looked like they we're doing cart wheels.

The fishing here in South Florida has been just flat out awesome! The back country fishing in and around Flamingo continues to be really strong. Giving up great days of fishing for redfish, sheepshead, black drum, and sea trout. There were even a few days of early season tarpon fishing due to the beautiful weather we've been experiencing. The fishing in Biscayne Bay has been absolutely red hot! There have been piles and piles of bonefish and permit all over the Bay. This past week my anglers were able to boat many great bonefish. The real trophy was this ten pound giant caught by my good friend Don. Great fish Don! Great Job!
