It’s been another great week down here in the Florida Keys! Winter is a great time to come visit and fish South Florida. Mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine can help chase away those winter time blues! Snook, redfish, and black drum have all been providing great backcountry fishing action! Also, I had the great privilege of guiding Jenn and Nick for some bonefish fishing this past week. They are working for one of South Florida’s Universities FIU doing a bonefish contaminant study. What a fascinating day it was talking with these two and learning about all they are studying and working on to help ensure great bonefish fishing for years to come.

It’s been a great week of fishing here in Key Largo! Both the backcountry and ocean side flats have been providing solid action! With plenty of snook outback and large schools of bonefish on the Atlantic side this is a fantastic time for the traveling angler to come fish in South Florida and the Florida Keys!

It’s a beautiful November here in South Florida and the flats and backcountry fishing has been great! We are finding excellent numbers of snook throughout Florida Bay and Everglades National Park. The bonefish fishing has also been strong around Key Largo and Biscayne Bay.

Capt. Eric Lund and new Greco's on the Fly customer Joel had some great inshore action last week in the Florida Keys despite the wind. Joel was able to get a hold of both his first permit and bonefish! The fishing here in south Florida remains solid.
