Great day today with Paul from Wisconsin! His first day ever flats fishing and he lands 2 bonefish, several jack, mangrove & mutton snapper, and he took a beating from a big pissed off Lemon Shark!

Just an amazing day today fly fishing for tarpon in Everglades National Park! It was the perfect weather recipe for Poon! Sticky hot with not a breath of breeze. The fish were thick and snappy! It just doesn't get any better!

It's great to be back here in the Florida Keys! With some of the warm calm weather we've been experiencing there has been a strong number of tarpon showing up in the Everglades! As well as some excellent sight fishing opportunities for snook throughout Florida Bay.  We are experiencing a cold front this weekend but it's looking like nice, warm, calm weather in the forecast again on Tuesday. This should bring the big tarpon back into the shallows making them perfect targets for the fly angler. We've also had some good bone fishing on the ocean side flats in Key Largo and Biscayne Bay.
