Awesome tarpon fishing in Everglades National Park again on Friday. My good friend and I hooked several fish ranging from juvenile tarpon to a couple real giants! It is such an unforgettable experience every winter when Mother Nature puts all the pieces of the puzzle together that brings these beautiful fish into the Glades. Some of the best fishing I've ever experienced.

Great day today with Paul from Wisconsin! His first day ever flats fishing and he lands 2 bonefish, several jack, mangrove & mutton snapper, and he took a beating from a big pissed off Lemon Shark!
As a professional guide sometimes it's easy to get lost in the competitive nature of the sports we play. Working so hard to catch the most fish, or the biggest fish. Oh how I recognize how guilty of this I am most of the time. Then there are the times I can shut this competitive edge down and reflect on the seasons past. The years that have past. It's then I realize what I'm actually guiding people into. Their next smile, their next laugh, or perhaps their next family memory. Thank you to all my valued customers and dear friends that have helped create a most memorable 2016 guide season. It's your hard work, discipline, and dedication to the sports we love that made it all possible. I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. May your 2017 be filled with peace, love, happiness, and tranquility.
