The fishing here in South Florida has been great! Plenty of action to be had throughout Everglades National Park for anglers of all ages and skill levels! There had also been some great bonefish, permit, and tarpon fishing from Biscayne Bay to Islamorada!

It’s been a while since my last report. We are in full swing busy season here in the Florida Keys and the fishing has been great! All of our inshore species have been plentiful and eager to please. Tarpon, permit, bonefish, snook, and redfish have all been providing exciting sight fishing opportunities with both fly and light tackle. I still have some open time for this coming summer. What a great time of year the summer is down here! All the fish and none of the people! Come on down!

Florida Keys Islamorada Fishing Charters

The fishing here in The Florida Keys remains strong. There are plenty of bonefish, permit, snook, and redfish to be found throughout Florida Bay. The tarpon fishing continues to produce as well despite Mother Nature’s efforts against us. I’m looking forward to the rest of April. It’s one of my favorite months to fly fish for tarpon in Islamorada. Both the Oceanside and Backcountry will provide great action this month.

Florida Keys Inshore Fishing Charters

It’s been another great week down here in the Florida Keys! Winter is a great time to come visit and fish South Florida. Mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine can help chase away those winter time blues! Snook, redfish, and black drum have all been providing great backcountry fishing action! Also, I had the great privilege of guiding Jenn and Nick for some bonefish fishing this past week. They are working for one of South Florida’s Universities FIU doing a bonefish contaminant study. What a fascinating day it was talking with these two and learning about all they are studying and working on to help ensure great bonefish fishing for years to come.

We’ve had some awesome fishing this week in Biscayne Bay and Everglades National Park! The bonefish have been plentiful throughout Biscayne Bay and Key Largo. I’ve been finding large schools on both the bayside and oceanside flats. We’ve also had some cold fronts move through South Florida stacking the snook, redfish, and black drum into some of the deeper water channels and creeks of Florida Bay and providing some action packed days with a fish on seemingly every cast!

It’s been a great week of fishing here in Key Largo! Both the backcountry and ocean side flats have been providing solid action! With plenty of snook outback and large schools of bonefish on the Atlantic side this is a fantastic time for the traveling angler to come fish in South Florida and the Florida Keys!

It’s a beautiful November here in South Florida and the flats and backcountry fishing has been great! We are finding excellent numbers of snook throughout Florida Bay and Everglades National Park. The bonefish fishing has also been strong around Key Largo and Biscayne Bay.
