The fishing in Everglades National Park has been great! Providing plenty of tarpon, snook, and redfish opportunity for both the fly and light tackle angler. I am also finding plenty of happy bonefish in Key Largo as well as Biscayne Bay. I have availability in August and September. Large schools of fish have been showing up in both the backcountry of Islamorada and ocean side of Biscayne Bay and Key Largo. I still have some availability in February. It was a great run with many great fishing memories created with friends new and old. As the giant tarpon and the number of fishermen on the water begin to thin out it reminds me that the next best season is upon us here in the Florida Keys. Summer time permit! The next few months are an amazing time to come to South Florida and experience some of the best permit fishing around.
